Job Description
Responsibilities
Create Power BI (PBI) Dashboards, Reports or other data delivery solutions
Gather and translate business requirements and build-out insightful reporting solutions using PBI
Recommend and develop robust solutions in a timely manner based on requirement specification by working with IT and business stakeholders
Demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
Work closely with the business stakeholders to enhance existing tools and data architecture supporting reporting
Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze the results and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Develop and update technical documentation to serve as a reference guide
Provide ongoing maintenance and problem investigation & support on PBI platform
Occasional travel to our Dongguan factory is required
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
At least 2 years’ experience in in Power BI custom development projects with demonstrated aptitude in Power BI or other BI/ Reporting solutions
Extensive experience as SQL/MSBI/Oracle DB/Power BI Developer, and with Server Reporting Services experience
Experience in writing Power Query, DAX, MDX for complex data projects
Experience with managing objects in Power BI Service in a Premium capacity
Knowledge with SSAS is a plus
Ability to write detailed design documents, communicate the vision and defend the position is a plus
Self-motivated and independent with the ability to handle assigned task with minimal supervision
Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Analyst, Power BI
