Job Description

·       To support API governance by define and implement best practices on APIs, code style guides, and various testing standards, including peer reviews and critiques

·       Use your creative and innovation-driven ability to articulate engineering design patterns related to scale, performance, security, and usability

·       Designing, implementing, and documenting APIs or boilerplate for reference by other engineers

·       Can develop prototype for PoC or evaluate product comparison

·       Teaching and mentoring other engineers and promote the API culture

·       Provide technical leadership while taking a key part in strategic API, middle tier and database technology architectural and solution decisions

·       Coordinate with external service to deliver solution on API initiatives

Qualification

·       7 years or more experience in application development experience

·       Strong background in API development in enterprise, preferable in financial institution or banking industry

·       Experience in deliver digitalized projects which have adopted API lifecycle such as design, development, test, monitoring, release etc

·       Experience in building solution with market API products or management tools such as API gateway on clouds, Kong, Nginx, MuleSoft, IBM API Connect etc

·       Knowledge in the API governance and practice (OAuth, OAS, OpenID Connect, OpenAPI )
