Job Responsibility
Plan, implement and maintain the company’s data platform and solutions
Design, build and automate modern data pipelines and streaming processes
Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support integration and analytics
Implement metrics, monitor ETL/ELT performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize efficiency across the data lifecycle
Collaborate with analysts, stewards and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications
Evaluate and benchmark data tools to ensure alignment with user needs

Job Requirement
Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering
Strong proficiency in SQL
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or Synapse; Azure Data Engineer Associate certification is an advantage
Programming expertise in PySpark, Python, R, Java or Scala
Experience designing and deploying data applications on cloud platforms such as Azure
Excellent problem-solving skills and data-driven mindset
Ability to work independently and within a motivated team
Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
Willingness to travel when required
Energetic, proactive, adaptable, organized and comfortable working in dynamic environments
