Infrastructure Engineer I (Network Focus)
Key Responsibilities
Handle installation, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers and network infrastructure.
Deliver technical support and assist in planning for internet, intranet, websites, user applications, system software, and hardware.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather requirements and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Ensure optimal performance and reliability of network systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
Prepare and maintain system documentation, reports, and records.
Provide on-call support for urgent production incidents, assist with on-site emergency resolution, and perform shift duties when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in network administration and support.
Practical expertise with Switches, Routers, IPS/IDS, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and network monitoring tools.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, Red Hat Linux, NetApp storage systems, and TCP/IP protocols in LAN/WAN setups.
Flexibility to work occasional evening and holiday shifts to support operations.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
