Network Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, operate, and maintain large-scale government multi–data center network and firewall systems.
Oversee project deliverables related to network infrastructure, coordinating tasks across internal teams and external vendors.
Work closely with system administrators and application teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Provide ongoing operational support for critical network environments.
Manage vendor relationships and monitor task execution to meet project objectives.
Contribute to ad-hoc infrastructure initiatives as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Minimum of nine (9) years of IT experience, with at least five (5) years focused on deploying and managing network infrastructure.
Professional certification such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing & Switching, Juniper Networks Certified Professional Enterprise Routing & Switching (JNCIP-ENT), or equivalent credentials from other recognized network equipment providers.
Strong grasp of networking protocols and standards, including BGP, OSPF, M-LAG, NAT, IPSEC/SSL VPN, and more.
Proficiency with core networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Practical experience with leading vendors including Huawei, Fortinet, Check Point, F5, etc.
Demonstrated ability to architect networks from the ground up and troubleshoot issues independently.
Excellent communication skills in both Cantonese and English.
