Patch Management Lead (SCCM Lead)
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison with client Operations Leads for vulnerability reporting, escalation, and resolution tracking.
Oversee vulnerability management performance, resource allocation, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Deliver monthly reports detailing key metrics, remediation progress, and compliance status.
Assess and prioritize critical patch deployments based on risk level and business impact.
Administer SCCM operations, including software distribution and patch management workflows.
Lead coordination of mass patch rollouts and ensure updates for offline or remote devices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert technical guidance and support.
Participate in monthly governance reviews and respond to emergency patching requirements as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or SANS GIAC are highly desirable.
Minimum 5 years of experience in vulnerability management or a related cybersecurity role.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SCCM administration.
2+ years in a leadership capacity overseeing patch management programs.
Skilled in using vulnerability scanning tools and PowerShell for automation and remediation.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent project management and communication skills.
Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage high-stakes security incidents effectively.
