Enterprise Architecture - Private Cloud Solution
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the lead architect for cloud solutions, overseeing the design and development of cloud platform architectures that align with business requirements. Conduct in‑depth analysis of technical features and security considerations, while evaluating emerging technologies and offerings from current and potential cloud service providers. Ensure compatibility, seamless system integration, adherence to cloud security standards, and operational efficiency through automation, optimization, and risk reduction.
Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and IT stakeholders to produce high‑level solution designs and technical project plans. Prepare Bills of Materials to support budgeting and procurement activities.
Supervise and support the deployment of solutions, including low‑level design development. Guarantee that technical implementations match the approved designs, with thorough documentation for operational handover. Ensure compliance with established design principles and industry standards such as ISO27001 and CSTAR.
Conduct ongoing reviews of existing cloud platform architectures to identify opportunities for improvement, enhancing operational efficiency, system performance, and security posture.
Provide expert guidance on adopting new technologies, including cloud computing and platform integrations, from both technical and risk perspectives. Contribute to the creation of the Cloud Platform roadmap to support business growth and innovation.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within financial institutions.
Strong expertise in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and container platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud management platforms, cloud‑native solutions, and cloud security design.
Proven experience in technical project delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and transition to operations and production environments.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux/Unix, GitHub Enterprise, Sonatype, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Golang, shell scripting, ArgoCD, HashiCorp Vault, and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
Familiarity with ITSM processes, IT governance frameworks, and compliance standards in the financial industry is preferred.
Strong analytical and innovative problem‑solving skills, with a pragmatic, structured, and self‑motivated approach.
Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
Excellent presentation, documentation, and report‑writing abilities.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua is an advantage.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior role.
