Senior Cloud Governance Specialist
Major Responsibilities
Contribute to building and sustaining the Cloud Governance Framework, working closely with Legal, Compliance, IT Governance, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams
Oversee the implementation of cloud compliance activities by coordinating with service providers, platform operations, and application teams to ensure adherence to governance standards
Improve cloud adoption and operational workflows, embedding them into the organization’s ITSM practices
Ensure consistency between the Cloud Governance Framework and the company’s broader IT Governance structure
Provide support for internal and external evaluations such as audits, ISO27001, CSA, SOC reviews, penetration testing, and assist with related preparation and coordination
Track and assess managed service provider performance, ensuring timely delivery of required reporting
Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors
Requirements
Holds a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a closely related discipline
Possesses at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally within major financial institutions, including a minimum of 1 year managing ITSM processes
Familiarity with cloud technologies, governance models, and compliance standards is considered beneficial
Demonstrates a proactive mindset with strong dedication to delivering high‑quality outcomes
Applies analytical thinking, creativity, and structured problem‑solving, balanced with practical judgment and initiative
Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
Proficient in English, with Putonghua fluency regarded as an added advantage
Applicants with fewer years of experience may be evaluated for a junior‑level position
