Major Responsibilities

Oversee the company’s cloud platform operations, covering design, analysis, deployment, and ongoing support to maintain a highly dependable environment.
Direct a team of Cloud Specialists, working alongside vendors to build, upgrade, and refine the cloud platform and infrastructure components in line with business needs and emerging technologies.
Serve as the technical authority, leading incident resolution and troubleshooting efforts in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
Drive the assessment and adoption of new cloud service offerings, and establish processes and standards to maximize efficiency and value from cloud resources.
Guide the development and administration of DevOps and SysOps practices, partnering with application teams to ensure smooth integration and performance of systems on the cloud platform.
Conduct regular reviews of the cloud environment and provide recommendations for enhancements to management.
Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

Holds a university qualification in IT, computer science, or a closely related field
Brings at least 10 years of industry experience, ideally from leading financial institutions, with 5+ years in managerial roles
Skilled in overseeing infrastructure systems such as virtualization, computing, storage, networking, containers, and Kubernetes, along with cloud management platforms and DevOps automation tools
Familiarity with Ansible Tower, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, and scripting/programming using Python, Ruby, JavaScript, and JSON is highly valued
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud platform environments effectively
Maintains a proactive mindset and strong dedication to producing high‑quality outcomes
Possesses solid analytical, presentation, documentation, and reporting capabilities
Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in Putonghua is considered advantageous
Applicants with fewer years of experience may be evaluated for a more junior role
