Senior Cybersecurity Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Strengthen system and network infrastructure to support cybersecurity initiatives such as PIM, SIEM, DLP, and APT.
Contribute to the planning, design, and deployment of technological solutions that safeguard against cyberattacks and intrusions.
Establish procedures and workflows for monitoring, logging, and analyzing security events to support investigations.
Collaborate with network, system, security, operations, and development teams to implement infrastructure changes that enhance cyber resilience.
Partner with external vendors to ensure successful delivery of outsourced cybersecurity solutions.
Define and maintain configuration standards and guidelines for system and network infrastructure supporting security solutions.
Assess and evaluate emerging technologies to address evolving cyber threats and risks.
Deploy and support security tools and packages across diverse system platforms and network architectures.
Upgrade and maintain systems and networks to meet current cyber resilience requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues promptly to restore normal service operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in network security or architecture.
Strong expertise in network security, including firewall configuration, router ACLs, IPS, IDS, and network access control.
Proficiency in open‑platform technologies and server virtualization.
Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking and routing protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, and VLAN.
Experience working within major financial institutions.
Excellent problem‑solving skills, including root‑cause analysis.
Familiarity with SOC, DLP, and SIEM solutions is an advantage.
Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Cybersecurity Specialist I.
