Key Responsibilities
Direct the technical oversight of system and network infrastructure, cloud management platforms, and execution of assigned cloud-related projects.
Serve as the subject matter expert and system owner, responsible for maintaining private cloud infrastructure domains, including lifecycle management, upgrades, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Partner with the cloud operations team to ensure smooth functioning of managed systems, while providing technical guidance during incidents and problem resolution.
Act as technical project manager, overseeing project delivery to meet deadlines with high-quality deployments, adhering to governance standards such as planning, risk/issue tracking, and project closure.
Collaborate with architecture, operations, security, and application teams to establish and enforce cloud platform standards and governance; support DevOps initiatives for automation through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Security-as-Code (SaC).
Drive ongoing improvements in cloud platform availability, performance, security, and efficiency, including evaluating emerging technologies when appropriate.
Create documentation, playbooks, and runbooks for infrastructure operations and incident response.
Provide on-call support for urgent production issues, including onsite intervention and shift duties when required.
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within financial institutions, with a minimum of 5 years in a technical management role.
Strong expertise in one or more specialized domains:
- Cloud Infrastructure: Windows/Linux OS, directory services, DNS,    backup, monitoring, logging, SMTP relay, patching, licensing servers, storage systems; experience with OpenStack preferred.
- Network/Security: Routing, load balancing, VPN gateways, firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, SDN, CDN.
- Container Platforms: Kubernetes and related tools (Helm, Grafana, Prometheus), workload protection, Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD/Flux, GitOps, GitHub, Hashicorp.
Proven track record in technical project delivery, including new builds, technology refresh, and transition to operations.
Familiarity with ITSM processes, governance frameworks, and compliance standards in the financial sector is advantageous.
Strong analytical, innovative, and structured problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic and proactive mindset.
Positive attitude, commitment to quality, and ability to deliver results under pressure.
Excellent presentation, documentation, and reporting abilities.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua is an asset.
