Senior Manager (Cloud Platform)
Major Responsibilities
Responsible for the management of the company’s cloud platform including design, analysis, implementation and support to ensure highly reliable cloud platform for the company
Lead a team of Cloud Specialists with vendor supports to develop, implement and enhance the cloud platform and related infrastructure components based on user / business requirements and technology trends
Act as technical expert to lead on troubleshooting of any incident or technical issue on cloud platform with vendor and internal supports
Lead the evaluation of new cloud services offerings, implementation, and execution of processes and standards to optimise the use of cloud service
Lead the development and management of DevOps and SysOps-related matters, collaborate with application teams to enable the application systems to run on Cloud platform
Review cloud environment regularly and suggest improvement opportunities to the management
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
University degree in information technology, computer science or related disciplines
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience preferably gained from major financial institutions with at least 5 years at managerial level
Experience in managing system infrastructure (e.g. virtualization, computing system, storage, network, container and K8S), cloud management platform, DevOps automation tool, etc.
Experience and knowledge on Ansible Tower, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Python, Ruby, Java script, JSON related tools and scripts skills are preferable
Strong technical troubleshooting skill in a complex infrastructure or cloud platform environment
Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work
Good analytical, presentation, documentation and report writing skills
Good command of written and spoken English, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position
