Senior Systems Engineer – Office Automation
Key Responsibilities
Handle installation, deployment, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of server and storage systems.
Deliver technical assistance and planning for websites, user applications, system software, and hardware.
Design, evaluate, and implement multi-platform solutions within virtualization environments.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather requirements and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Ensure optimal performance and reliability of server and storage infrastructure.
Diagnose and resolve issues across PC/LAN, Windows, and Linux platforms.
Prepare documentation, reports, and system records.
Research advancements in PC/LAN, Windows, Linux, and open storage platforms, recommending improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and support to application development teams.
Respond to emergency production incidents, deliver onsite support, and perform shift duties as required; undertake additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in server and PC/LAN administration and support, ideally within large-scale Windows and Linux environments.
Practical expertise with Microsoft Windows Suites, Red Hat Linux, NetApp and Huawei storage systems, virtualization technologies, and TCP/IP networking in LAN/WAN setups.
Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
